If one wants to abide in the thought free state a struggle is inevitable. One must find one’s way trough before regaining one’s original primal state.

When we turn the mind inwards God manifests as the inner consciousness.

No one succeeds without effort. Those who succeed owe their success to perseverance.

Of course we loosely talk of realisation for want of a better term. How to real-ise or make real that which itself is real?

Therefore, realisation is for everyone; realisation makes no difference between the aspirants.

If realisation is not eternal it is not worth having.

Meditation helps concentration of the mind, then the mind is free from thoughts and is in the meditated form.

The I thought is said, the sum total of all thoughts. The source of the I thought has to be inquired into.

Self realisation is cessation of all thoughts and of all mental activity. Thoughts are like bubbles upon the surface of the sea.

A self-realised man remains happy without being affected by false appearances; whereas the ignorant man is miserable.

Moderation in food; moderation in sleep and moderation in speech; — The self is always realised. It is not necessary to seek to realise what is already and always realised.

Stillness means being free from thoughts and yet aware.

At one stage you will laugh at yourself for trying to discover the self which is so self-evident.

The self cannot be found in books. You have to find it for yourself within yourself.

If you go on working with the light available you will find your master as he himself will be seeking you.

Tobacco is a poison. It is better to do without it. It is good that you have given up smoking. Men are enslaved by tobacco and cannot give it up.

So long as false identification persists doubts will persist, questions will arise, there will be no end of them.

You can never find mind trough the mind. Go beyond it and find it non-existent.

When the mind is left without anything to cling to it becomes still.

The self is pure knowledge pure delight where there is no duality.

The self is already realised, therefore the effort to realise results only in your realizing your present mistake — that you have not realized your self; therefore is no fresh realization.

The false I is the obstruction which has to be removed, in order that the true I may cease to be hidden.

The enlightened one that has become one with the unchanging supreme consciousness like a river that has become one with the ocean takes birth no more in a body.

There is no reaching the self. If self were to be reached it would mean that the self is not here and now and that is yet to be obtained.

Do not yield to the great bliss but pass on to the next stage which is great calm. The calm is higher than ecstasy.

The body consciousness is the wrong I. Give it up.

Seek the source of your ego, abide there for ever in the source and find your self in bliss.

Accomplishments which appear and disappear being the effect of maya cannot be real.

The non-self cannot see the self. The self has no sight or hearing, it lies beyond these all alone as pure consciousness.

He alone who has realized the self in the heart has realised the truth. Having transcended the dualities he is never perplexed.

How is it possible for the mind o know the lord who imparts its light to the mind and shines within the mind except by turning the mind inward and fixing it on the Lord?

Renunciation is always within the mind not in going to forests or solitary places or giving up one’s duties. The main thing is to see that the mind does not turn outward but inward.

You cannot mix the two states, the dreaming and the waking state.

When by compassionate divine grace the mind becomes clear the nature of the world will be known to be not the illusory forms but only the reality.

The state we call realisation is simply being oneself, not knowing anything or becoming anything.

Similarly till you attain the state of realisation and thus wake out of this illusory phenomenal world you must do social service by relieving suffering wherever you see it.

Good thoughts keep off bad thoughts, they must themselves disappear before the state of realisation.

The final obstacle in meditation is ecstasy, you find great bliss and happiness and want to stay in that ecstasy.

That pure consciousness which is the reality and which shines without a break as I AM when the mind becomes calm is the supreme bliss.

The power that created the you created the world as well. If God created the world it is his business to look after it not yours.

The illuminated one who is happy in the peace of the self without thought of the past and the future and is like a mere witness of the present, has his knots of bondage cut.

When we see our self there is no world and when we loose sight of the self we get ourselves bound in the world.

You have been so accustomed to objectify that you have lost the knowledge of your self simply because the self cannot be objectified.

Supernatural powers are all illusory appearances created by the power of maya (Maya Shakti)

The I thought is like a spirit which although not palpable rises up simultaneously with the body rises up with it and disappears with it.

The mind of one meditating on a single object becomes one-pointed. And one-pointedness of mind leads to abidance in the self.

Absence of thoughts does not mean blank. There must be one to know the blank.

Realisation is to get rid of the delusion that you have not realised.

A man should surrender the personal selfishness which binds him to this world. Giving up the false self is the true renunciation.

Renunciation does not imply apparent divesting of costumes, family ties home etc but renunciation of desires, affection and attachements.

The trouble lies with your desire to objectify the self in the same way you objectify your eyes when you place a mirror before them.

What is eternal it is not recognised as such, owing to ignorance. Ignorance is the obstruction.

There is no seeing, seeing is only being.

If one has realised one is that which alone is and which alone has always been.

Mind is consciousness which has limitations. We are originally unlimited and perfect, later on we take on limitations am become the mind.

The self is like a pearl to find it you must dive deep down int the silence deeper and ever deeper until it is reached.

Once the current of awareness of the self is set afoot it becomes everlasting and continues by intensification.

The degree of freedom from unwanted thoughts and the degree of concentration on a single thought are the measure to gauge spiritual progress.

Your own self realisation is the biggest service you can render the world.
